Overworked? Overstressed? Overwhelmed?

Most people have an income, but they aren't good at managing what they spend. Others have bad habits they don't know to overcome.

Hey, I get it.

I've had struggles in the past. It isn't a shame to admit that you've made mistakes. When you ignore the changes you need to make, this is when it's a problem.

Ignoring can cause all sorts of issues, especially when it comes to your finances. Ignoring can cause bankruptcy, foreclosure, or even worse- debtors can sue you!

Deuteronomy 11:26 reveals that God gives us a choice between blessing and cursing. It is your choice what you do, but if you choose wrong, you may not ever reach your goals and could end up in a much worse condition.

Poverty, debt, sickness, and all negative things have been spread out before you like a buffet. Adam and Eve chose these things in the beginning, through sin. Then these negative things were passed down from generation to generation.

Sin is fun for a moment. But then it reaps negative consequences which turn the fun into failure.

Living outside of God's boundaries and will for our lives is sin and sin brings negative consequences.

The consequences of blowing your money or not acting responsibly show up in the form of bad credit, poverty, debt, and lack. It can even affect your health if you don't have the money to pay for surgeries or other medical needs.

We all know those things are not fun. So, while sin may seem fun for a moment, it is just a deception that leads you to devastation. The result is not good.

The good news is Galatians 3:13 reveals that Jesus came and redeemed us from those generational curses. Now financial well-being, good health, and abundance have been laid before us, also spread out like a buffet.

The choice is ours.

Many stresses in life are self-induced. We can change our lives by changing our habits. It begins with repentance. True repentance is asking God to forgive you and turning from wicked ways.

You can't say you love God and live in sin. It doesn't work like that. Either you love God and serve Him wholeheartedly, or you love yourself and serve yourself.

Selfishness and Godliness do not go together.

"Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace." James 3:13-18

I want to encourage you to take a close look at your heart. Peace can only be obtained through living a Godly lifestyle. Turn from wicked ways to serve Him. God is the avenue to peace and living in His will reaps happiness and blessing.
